Welcome to Chadsmoor Federation!

It is a pleasure to welcome you to Chadsmoor Federation website, and I am pleased you have come to visit us. Our Federation family consists of Chadsmoor Community Infant & Nursery School, where we cater for children from 3 – 7 years old and Chadsmoor CE (VC) Junior School for children from 7 - 11 years old.

To find out more about each school such as our School Day, Ofsted Report & Nursery you can use the Infant or Junior School tabs at the top of the page. More information such as Policies, Curriculum and Newsletters can be found using the Federation tab, which contains information across both sites as we work very closely to become a Family.

Our Federation School motto is "Enjoying Achieving Together" and it is with this in mind that we strive to provide our children with an outstanding school experience. We are committed to providing breadth of opportunity and the highest possible standards of care and education for all children. We aim to make your child's time with us as happy, enjoyable and successful as we possibly can. We are firmly committed to education as a partnership with parents/carers, staff and governors all working together to support your child’s learning. We hope that by working together, your child will develop in confidence and independence as well as enjoy their learning during their time with us and that our important partnership will be a great success.

We are very proud of each of our children and their achievements. We continue to work hard to inspire every child in our school to succeed and follow their hopes and dreams. Our high expectations of behaviour, attitude, work and achievement helps our pupils to reach their full potential. We offer an exciting, hands-on learning experience that is tailored to the needs of all our children. You will often find children taking part in great learning activities using a broad range of devices including iPads, laptops, cameras and audio devices.

Please take your time to browse through our website – I am sure you will agree that we indeed provide exciting opportunities for all. If you have further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. I hope you will feel inspired to visit us and see for yourself the opportunities we offer.

A message from our Chair of Governors

I have been a Methodist minister for 35 years working in Plymouth, Consett, Stoke-on-Trent and Stockport before moving to Cannock during the Covid lockdown. Part of my role in Cannock is as the minister of the Methodist church in Chadsmoor. I am a Foundation Governor, and new to the role so learning the ropes as we go. It is good to play a part in the life of the school community here, alongside other people from the church and beyond. Prior to ministry I worked for the travel agent Thomas Cook and still love to travel when the opportunity arises. I was made Chair of Governors in July 2022 and look forward to working even closer with our community.
