Homework

Homework is set to consolidate and extend learning that takes place in class. Pupils should read regularly at home and parents/carers should comments in the Reading diary provided. In addition Literacy and Maths homework is set on a weekly basis. Literacy homework may be in the form of a topic that spans over several weeks. It is suggested that pupils take 20 minutes to complete each piece.

Years 3, 4 and 5: Spellings, Literacy and Maths. Homework is set on a Monday to be handed in on Thursday. Spellings are tested on Friday.

Year 6. Spellings set on a Monday tested on Friday. Literacy set on Monday to be handed in on Thursday. Maths x2: set on Monday handed in Wednesday, set on Wednesday handed in Friday.

Children attending homework club will complete their Literacy and Maths homework during this time.
